GetResponse: Content Monetization

How does a digital nomad make a living?

I haven't had a boss in years - and I'm not suited to the kind of life where you have to fit in times and obey orders. Consequently, I have invested in alternative sources of income. Among other things, I have freelanced as a content writer,  linguist, editor, and translator for various companies and it has paid my bills for the past twenty years.

The first thing I have done is that I have invested part of my profits in digital products that together with automatic marketing take care of themselves. I think it's worth the expense because now I know I have learnt how to create a self-propelled marketing machine that runs and runs without my involvement. I see how the subscribers to my newsletters increase automatically - and my list of subscribers gets my email series sent to them automatically.

In addition to this, I invest in trading. Of course, this is nothing that interests the big traders who want to rake in millions of dollars during a trading day - but for a small digital nomad like me, it is an excellent strategy that gives me a few thousand extra a week. In my strategy, I keep track of the stocks that have fallen in value - buy them cheap and sell them during the rise - and I can buy and sell the same small stock several times in a week - all according to the principle of leverage.

I also play poker online. this is also an activity with ups and downs - all depending on mood; above all the mood of the subconscious. If my subconscious doesn't want to play poker, it doesn't matter how intensely my Ego wants to play - then the 85% that the subconscious will self-sabotage by the tables. I'm going to write a book about the importance of the subconscious to success in poker one day.

Card games, games, card magic, and card tricks have interested me all my life so for me it is a natural choice of entertainment.

Now I'm going to grab something to eat before I'm going to play an online poker tournament; a Pot Limit Knockout Draw - the favorite game at the moment.
